Sponsors helped make this event a success by donating time, the location, supplies, tables, food & drinks!

In the design and construction industry, we find ourselves creating a lot of waste from expired or unused materials collected in our finish libraries that inevitably make their way to the landfill.

So we asked why not repurpose, or upcycle, these materials back into our community? Once unwanted materials can have a new life as free-source materials for educators and non-profit associations, or be transformed into works of art by artists and crafters.

IIDA Georgia (International Interior Design Association of Georgia) is hosting its 11th annual ZeroLandfill Atlanta event with Wilsonart and Officeworks. To date, we have helped upcycle more than 400,000 pounds of discontinued or discarded architectural and interior design samples. Help us beat our previous year totals by participating in the 2024 ZeroLandfill Atlanta event!

Jen

Atlanta, GA

Jen is no newbie to ZLF, she has been coming to Zerolandfill for five years in a row. She comes to find supplies for projects around her house and enjoys being creative, finding things to do with the items she picks up.

Team Jones

Decatur, GA

With four generations present, Team Jones has been coming to Zerolandfill for the past two years. They keep coming back because they “find such unique pieces, and we are a unique bunch. There is just something so much better about getting to “put something together”, rather than just picking it off of a store shelf.”

Tim & Rebecca

Atlanta, GA

As true DIY-ers, Tim & Rebecca were on the hunt for table settings and and other supplies for their upcoming wedding. This was their first year visiting ZLF and were impressed by the amount of helpful volunteers and the great selection of materials.
