JOIN THE BOARD

Every great organization has at its core and intangible “something” that provides its strength and abilities to positively affect its members, its community, and its profession.  IIDA Georgia Chapter volunteers make up our board, committees, partners, forums, and all other key positions within our organization.  

Through the selfless and committed contributions of time, talents, experience, and professionalism, members who participate in our mission and our vision for the present and future of Interior Design benefit all chapter members. Direct participation in the governance and operation of the chapter provides members with a wide range of opportunities to build on personal and professional skills and to directly affect the interests and successes of the chapter.  If you are interested volunteering time but do not have long term to commit, contact the Membership Team for short term opportunities.

There are various opportunities available, either be part of to be an IIDA Signature Event Committee Member (i.e. Best of the Best, Dressed), Board Member, supporting Board Committee.  

Both elected and appointed positions are available on our chapter board.  Board members normally meet once a month for chapter board meetings and many are also involved  in committee and event related business.  If you truly want to directly affect our chapter and our mission a position on our board may present a great opportunity.  Please take a look at our board member page for more information or contact our V.P. of Membership.
