Our Mission for Dressed is to give designers a unique opportunity to unleash their creativity while promoting the IIDA Georgia Chapter and our industry partners and manufactures at a runway extravaganza like no other. Teams have the opportunity to connect with the Atlanta Architecture and design (A&D) industry in a creative and “out-of-the-box” format, working together to create one-of-a-kind, wearable garments, made almost entirely from their sponsoring manufacturers’ products. As in years past, a portion of the ticket sales from the event are donated to Dress for Success Atlanta.

DRESSED 10 : THE FUTURE OF FASHION

10 years of Dressed. As we reflect on the first decade of one of our favorite IIDA annual events, Dressed 10 points us to the future. The foundation of the Dressed 10 concept stems from the binary makeup of the number 10. Universally recognized, one and zero, both clearly and more subtly, symbolize the concept of power and embody the future as it is manifested in our lives today. Dressed 10 represent the endless possibilities of the future that is tomorrow. This year, each team is to create a garment that reflects YOUR vision of the future. Dystopian, magical, technological, recessional, mythical, banal... it could be anything. All participating visionary teams are to submit their entry forms along with their team concept page (both included in this packet) with a brief description of the future you envision, along with concept/mood imagery to help convey the future of your fashion.
